American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR

Do you know what to do in the event your pet is injured?
We will present the techniques needed to control your pet while still being able to show the love and support needed to treat their injuries until proper medical help can be obtained.

What will you get out of a Pet First Aid & CPR Course?
Each Pet First Aid class is taught by ASHI and American Red Cross (ARC) Certified Instructors. Each class will cover the care, treatment and handling techniques of injured dogs and cats. Instructors will come to you with the necessary equipment to teach you all the steps in Pet CPR, rescue breathing, bandaging, splinting and anything else needed to comfort your pet in the case of an emergency. All students get a pet first aid and CPR reference manual and DVD, an American Safety & Health Institute or American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR certification card showing completion of the course as well as a Certificate of Completion.

Pet CPR …This course shows you how to perform CPR on a dog or cat. You will be instructed in the proper technique of rescue breathing.

Pet First Aid …This course shows you how to check for and treat injuries that occur in the first few minutes. This course covers bandaging, splinting, scene safety, choking, heat & cold emergencies, etc.

This course is around 2 and a half hours and cost $80
